Multimatic Manufacturing

I work as a Test Engineering Co-op Student at the Multimatic Manufacturing Test Lab, where I test automotive mechanisms. I design tests and test fixtures, and work with Instron testing machines, corrosion chambers, environmental chambers, FMVSS Machines, and various custom made test rigs to test and analyze high performance automotive mechanisms in order to validate their design and performance. Such work includes routine testing of in-production parts, special request tests from clients and other departments, design validations for prototype and concept vehicle mechanisms, production validations for the manufacturability of new designs, and meetings with clients and engineers to discuss test results and findings. Unfortunately, for confidentiality reasons, I am unable to share details or pictures of the specific work done at the Test Lab.
